The 2025 lineup boasts some amazing talent with Blues legend Lloyd Spiegel coming to rock the Rec Reserve and super-popular bush band ‘Bushwahzee’ playing up a storm for the annual Bush Dance.

The Bogie Festival is brought to you this year by the Strathbogie Shire, Nutrien and Lindsay Park Racing and will be a long weekend of fun and entertainment for the whole family with funds raised going towards the Strathbogie Play Group and the Strathbogie Memorial Hall.

‘Lloyd Spiegel is an Aussie Blues & Roots icon’, according to Rolling Stone magazine. The legendary acoustic blues guitarist has produced ten albums and has a committed following both in this country and overseas. He will be playing a full concert on Sunday 2nd November from 4.00 pm.

Bushwahzee is also a headline act from Melbourne comprising Felix Meagher (dance caller, fiddle player, vocalist) Pat Evans (dance caller, mandolin, vocalist), Louis Meagher (guitar) and Sam Buirske (guitar and bass). They are a hugely popular bush band playing Bogie’s Bush Dance for the first time at the Strathbogie Hall on Saturday night, 1st November.

As well as this live music talent, there will be a Croquet tournament, (complete with a glass or two of Pimm's) on Saturday morning at ‘Fernside’, a Sunday Market at the Rec Reserve on Sunday morning alongside a tennis tournament and fantastic family sports day including all the old favourites such as sack, egg and spoon and 3-legged races. There is also the Ambrose Golf Tournament to be played on Monday!

The Festival will culminate on the Tuesday with a not to be missed Melbourne Cup Day lunch and soiree at the Strathbogie Golf Club. Other events across the weekend will include a Guided Heritage Walk and an Art Show. So put the weekend aside for some fantastic food, fun and entertainment – there’ll be something for everyone.
